Well it has been quite a year! Loopy Lou's Journey 2015!
Endeavouring to live in the moment more and more, and to achieve happiness throughout every minute of every day and to bring joy, fun and laughter to many children, parents and everyone really with whom she comes into contact with - Loopy Lou has had a funtastic (hey is that a word)? year! and has thoroughly enjoyed it! All the children within the community have been a joy and pleasure to spend time with and to entertain! Parties, disco's, shows, & events and sometimes just bumping into children and parents here, there and everywhere! :0)
Seeing the faces of little children smiling and laughing, and all belly laughing together, at all the silly Loopy things that Loopy Lou does and the crazy, funny, faces, that she pulls and the bizarre, silly, funny, characters that show up too (Super-gran! & The mad hatter!) just makes everything in Loopy's world seem so worthwhile!
When a little child approaches Loopy Lou at their friends party and says "Will you please come to my party Loopy Lou?" This is just the best feeling in the whole wide world! x
Some Loopy Achievements in 2015 were - attending and performing shows at some great Summer and Spring Events 'The Brunswick Festival' in Hove, 'Together the people music festival' (Preston Park), The Shoreham family fun Charity Day, The Seaford Charity Event, (Focus performance).
Loopy also participated in a doing a zip-wire of over 500 feet with the Royal Marines, off the top of the Blind Veterans building (helping to overcome a fear of heights, to hopefully continue on and raise more money in the future for worthy causes! Loopy also took part in a blustery night of sleeping rough, for the homeless charity 'Off the Fence' (All for a great cause, accompanied by my good friend James Wright - (P.R. Man from Streamline Taxis).
Loopy was lucky enough to take a trip to Poland in June to visit an amazing friend and meet her family. (This was Loopy Lou's first visit to Poland and it was sunny and beautiful and very quiet, after the hustle and bustle of Brighton)!
Later on in the year (beginning of October) Loopy Lou took a trip over to Brussels, her first time on the Eurostar train!! Wow that was quick and easy! Loopy Lou was re-united with her lovely Buddhist friends from Burma (at a world peace conference), who she had not seen since Feb 2014, when she had volunteered her services to help the children at their monastery in Saigain.
This year has also been a year of many fun networking events and connecting with some wonderful people all over Brighton and Sussex! Mumpreneurs, Juice Breakfast Club, Brighton Business Curry Club amongst others.
Loopy has also been singing all year round, with The Brighton City Singers (A wonderful community choir who meet up every week in Hove. At the end of this year too Loopy Lou travelled by train to London each week to dance, sing and hang out with the patients at Springfield Psychiatric Hospital, and was involved and performed in a concert with them all just before Christmas...Tra la la la la la la (This particular amazing voluntary programme runs each year through M.J.s Liberty Choirs, and also runs in Wandsworth Prison).
